The Tv Advertising blokes seriously understand just how to gain the children's attention, over the last couple of days all I have seen is adverts for the
vtech storio and a little voice crying out, can I get one of those for Christmas please.
The evenings are already beginning to draw in and we have just began to put the radiators on for an hour or so in the evening, which unfortunately suggests summer is virtually over. Anyway I have started to turn my attention towards Christmas and what we are going to be doing this year. It's the Christmas when we are going to be hosting, which means it could get a little stressful and heated,so it is vital that i am organised and have everything done early. We try to make every Christmas as special as possible for the kids and i've already been shown lot's of different toys that they want Santa to bring. One toy that has really stood out for me is the new
Vtech Storio, which I think is a fantastic educational toy, which will not only be fun, but also very educational in helping with the development of reading.
It seems that vtech have done it gain with the new vtech storio reader, this interactive story book will make the perfect present and will be a very helpful and fun tool to assist reading development. The new
Vtech Storio features a great range of different modes, to help your kids interact with the story and to help them to read. Bed times have always been fun in our house and I have always tried to fit in a story if possible with the kids as my parents did with me as I think it's not only a great time to bond but also it's important for there development.
One of the things I love best about this Vtech Storio is the little touches, like the fact that the words on the screen change colour as the story goes along, so it is so easy to follow, their is even a dictionary section, so that when the children get stuck on a word they can press a button and find out the meaning, genius. It's not just stories that the Storio does either, they can play different educational games where they can learn more about phonics, letters, vowels.
It could be another expensive Xmas if my little one get's his way, his want list looks more like an essay with toys like the
barbie video girl topping the pile.
